Blood in Bodies of Water > Mis(s) Re(a)d

Mis(s) Re(a)d: The Othered Self explores and challenges 'othering' and its misrepresentation. The works in the exhibit draw inspiration from hydrofeminist ideologies, delve into ideas of embodiment and ecological ethics in our current post-human era.
"Mis(s) Re(a)d," intends to carve out space for voices often marginalized by conventional assumptions and expectations. Work draw lessons from water, a symbol of connectivity, differentiation, and facilitation. Water is a connector, shedding light on the intricate intersections of our body, its environment, and its relationship to other forms of being. It brings diverse bodies into intimate contact, transcending differences.
