Black Gold 2013-14
The Project, Black Gold is a reflective work where our need to understand, identify, and connect with inner and exterior worlds is the driving force. The works abstractly express contradictions and dilemmas in our everyday life. How we always find ourselves in a situation that are opposed to one another or have to make a difficult choice between especially equally undesirable ones. Our impulses, bias, and greed inform us, and the work exists in the state of contradictions. Quintessentially the modern conflict is of a spiritual one, and every one of its main aspects, moral, political and scientific.
