Our identity is a complex, Entangled, amalgamation of varying influences of varying influences from the past and present. These identities are defined and influenced by our history, society, and the culture of our immediate surroundings. It also forms our perceptions and how we act, react and process the reality. Perception is unique to every individual and is simply one's interpretation of reality. The phrase, "Is the glass half empty or half full", can be referred to as a philosophical question. The purpose of the idiom is identical to the project Entangled as it demonstrates that the situation may be seen in different ways depending on one's perspective and context and that there may be opportunity in the situation as well as limitations. The Entangled works examines our limited knowledge, and ask to at least, question the boundaries to discover how to connect with others.

“There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.” - Aldous Huxley
“We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.” - Anais Nin
